The Role

What Your Day to Day Will Look Like

  • Actively engage in client engagements, providing comprehensive corporate, partnership, and individual tax services. Devise and execute strategic tax planning initiatives to maximize tax savings and minimize potential tax issues, thereby driving the financial success and growth of our clients
  • Utilize cutting-edge technology to enhance the efficiency of tax preparation processes. Leverage advanced software and tools to streamline tax preparation, data analysis, and reporting, delivering accurate and timely tax solutions while optimizing the client experience
  • Prepare and/or review a wide range of tax returns, including corporate, partnership, non-profits, and individual returns. This encompasses federal, state, and estimated payments, as well as extensions. Ensure compliance with tax regulations while maximizing deductions and minimizing tax liabilities
  • Foster strong client relationships through proactive engagement and exceptional service. Participate in networking and business development activities to contribute to the growth of our client base and cultivate long-term partnerships

What You Need to Succeed

  • Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Master of Tax preferred. CPA certification is required. Minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably in a public accounting firm
  • Proficient in corporate, partnership, non-profit, and individual taxation. Experience in tax planning, compliance, and research.
  • Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service. Proven track record of managing multiple client engagements simultaneously while ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables
  • Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills and the ability to research complex tax issues. Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues
